The Champions of Choice

In the Liberal's lexicon, "Choice" has been elevated to the status of a law of Nature when it comes to abortion, deviant sexual behavior, and a whole range of other anti-social acts. But are these people really consistent? Do they really have integrity?

The concept of integrity is based on the Latin word from which we get “Integer” - the concept of One-ness. In the arena of human character it refers to a person who is One in all his ways; that is, he is  "integrated" in all facets of his life; one who is the same both at home and at work, both in public and in private. He is one who speaks, as the old Indian adage goes, "with a straight tongue" no matter who is listening.

That concept, when applied to the political realm, exposes some powerful inconsistencies in the Liberal Democrats' positions on the primary agenda they are pushing through Congress now.

For instance, take the Universal Healthcare plan that will be rolled out on Monday. A central feature of it is that it is like the line from the song “Hotel California”: "you can check in, but you can never check out." It is a one-way street. Once enrolled - and once the snookered citizens are years into the clutches of the system – they will not be allowed to choose their own doctor, to have elective surgery, to go outside the system, or get medical services in any other way but by standing in line and receiving what some political appointee deigns to grant from the scarce resources left over after our once-great medical establishment has been destroyed. If time might be critical for you to receive an operation that will save your life, perhaps you had best just die and get out of the way of more deserving patients. You won't have any choice.

Not only patients like you will be denied any choice in medical services, but the very providers, the doctors, will be denied choice over who they serve. If they have a conscience issue with killing an unborn child in utero, they will not have a choice - their consciences will be forced and broken. They will be required to provide universal access to abortion on demand without any moral qualms allowed. And, you the taxpayer will be privileged to pay for those abortions regardless of whether you have strong moral objections to abortion or not.

Coming from a political philosophy that exalts choice to the ultimate and greatest good, this healthcare plan seems like a really bad joke. But it is not a joke.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the real choices left to us. The nation of Germany is persecuting Christian parents who insist on home-schooling their children to prevent the pagan humanist teaching from corrupting their minds. Of course, the State school superintendant sees it the other way. So, the parents were forced to flee Germany because the State was intent on seizing their children and placing them into a venue where they would be properly "socialized." The German State depends on laws passed by the Third Reich about compulsory state education. The ghost of Hitler - and socialism - still roams the world.

And of course, its most virulent form is alive and walking around in the White House right now. Illegally nominated, illegally elected, and illegally occupying the Presidency, this man - and virtually the entire Democratic Party establishment - are intent on slipping a strait jacket over the American People under the guise of providing Universal Healthcare. It won't be universal; and it really isn’t about healthcare at all. In the end, it will be clearly seen that right from the beginning it was about raw power and control of huge numbers of people for political and financial gain. The Chicago thug machine is now firmly in control of our national government.

So while the socialist destroyers are pushing the concept of "choice" in all manner of immoral behavior up to and including the murder of the innocents, they are dead set against any choices being left to a moral, religious, hardworking, honest people. Immoral choices are exalted; righteous choices are criminalized.

The option of voting out the system will be found to be very difficult. It is the ultimate political weed, and extremely hard to eradicate. It should never be allowed to take root in the first place.

The "Champions of Choice" are really Devils of Deception.

The "Party of NO" vs the Party of Marx

The Bible has this proverb: "Woe unto you when all men speak well of you". A corollary of that is found in  Mt 5:11 "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. " And one could add..."and for the Truth's sake."

The Dems are trying to tag the Republicans with the malodorous title of being "the party of No." Their intent is to portray them as a group who refuses to sign onto their big-government takeover of healthcare - or forced Unionization of the businesses of America, or the Carbon tax...name practically any Democrat legislation - as just being partisan or petulent, or obstructionist for petty reasons. The Dems would have us all believe that they just have our best interests at heart. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth.

While the Republicans have not done much to combat the implied stigma, I suggest that such a name ought to be worn not only with pride but with conviction, turning the tag into a badge of honor, exposing the agenda of the Dems. It would not take much; the American people already have a pretty clear notion of what the Dems are all about. They would enjoy a snappy come-back from the Republicans.

When the Democrats are rightly understood to be sponsoring the ideas of Karl Marx - Socialist, Progressive, Communist ideas - as the goal of the "change" they want to foist on the United States, then it is altogether honorable, and even incumbent on those who cherish this country and its heritage to stand up and reply with a resounding "NO!"

The Republicans are not known for being clever, but it is about time that they tap into some of the native wit that resides in many Tea Party hearts. Such a name would strongly resonate with that conservative, constitutional segment of the Party.

Obama's "Bi-Partisanship"

Obama's recent call for the Republicans to sit down and find some "bi-partisan" solutions to healthcare is just so much bunk. Since he is not willing to take the Democrat's totalitarian healthcare plans off the table and listen to real alternatives to the Progressives' plans, then his proposal, while sounding "fair-minded", is just a blatant invitation to blame the Republicans for not being willing to at least to buy into "some" of his plans.

There is just no place for the Repubs to buy into any part of that plan and not commit suicide themselves at the polls in November. The issue is radioactive and any attempt to craft a big government version of Healthcare will bring the wrath of the voters down on them.

As a tactic, the Dem's plan has some real upside for them if they can snooker the Charley Brown Repubs into taking another run at Lucy's football that she is holding. Theoretically, if the Dems can split the existing big-government plan in half, this tactic would assure that Obama gets at least fifty percent of his bill passed, and the hapless Repubs get rolled again by providing cover for the Dem's radical healthcare takeover.

Having once split the Repubs wall of unity, the Dems will then proceed to use the same tactic to destroy the opposition to all the rest of their agenda.

I understand the word is that the Repubs might be no-shows at the "bi-partisan happy hour" sponsored by Obama in a couple of weeks. I think that bold and dramatic move - something totally out of character for the normally milksop Repubs - would crash the Dem's plan. Of course, the move would have to be explained - articulated - effectively and preemptively so that the Dem's don't get the first or last word.

The Repubs, if they know what is good for them, will demand that the entire healthcare issue be on the table, and the Dem's plans put into the trash and publically burned before both houses of Congress. Starting from a clean slate, with the whole country watching would be the first and only condition for a starting point for bi-partisanship. Even then, I would be deeply, deeply suspicious.

With the gang we have in Washington right now - Dem and Repubs - I cannot put any trust in their work product.
